    Dogs love these bears, and the bears are very sturdy. Frank, the large Goldendoodle puppy, played with the smaller size for several months without damaging it. We replaced it with this XL bear when he was 4 months old and reached 35 lbs. He sleeps with it.

    The center is made of rope, so the dog enjoys chewing it, and there is less mess than with a fluff-stuffed toy, if the dog manages to rip off an ear. It is sturdy, but not indestructible. Bear the 20 lb Boston Terrier puppy needed over a week to rip off an ear and start pulling out the rope.
